Anita and Brian purchased Covered Bridge Boarding Kennel in 2010, turning an already good facility into an exemplary one. They ensure that all of the staff receive the necessary training and skills to provide the best possible care for your pets. They are extremely proud of their team.

Brian and Anita have a genuine love for dogs, with a small pack of their own, they have built a facility that their own dogs thrive in. They have created a staff of exceptional people with varied and valued skills to care and nurture all of their four-legged visitors.

Gracie has been an essential part of our team for 2 years, showcasing her dedication to caring for all the dogs. With a year of veterinary technician training under her belt, she combines her skills with a fantastic sense of humor, making her a true asset in the kennel. We're grateful to have her on board!

Dani brings a wealth of experience in dog care/grooming and training to our team. Her incredible sense of humor keeps us all entertained while she stays organized and resourceful. We are happy to have someone who combines expertise with a fun-loving spirit!

Emily brings a wealth of experience in handling dogs, ensuring they receive the best care possible. As our resident teeth cleaning expert, she specializes in non-sedation teeth cleaning, making it a fantastic addition to our services. With her expertise and passion for dogs, you can trust that your furry friends are in great hands.

Madeline has been an exceptional caregiver for the dogs in our kennel. She joins us during the summer and Christmas breaks, all while pursuing her dream of becoming a veterinarian.  Her dedication and love for animals shine through in everything she does, making her an invaluable part of our team. We are grateful to have her with us!

Asha is currently in her second year of Veterinary Technician studies at Georgian College. With her enthusiasm for animals and friendly demeanor, she is a valuable addition to our team. Her organized approach and educational background in veterinary care ensure that she brings a wealth of passion to her work. We're excited to have her as part of our team!

Mike started with us in August 2023 as our Groundskeeper.  He is responsible for all of our property maintenance and general kennel upkeep. Born and raised in nearby Elmvale, his friendly demeanour is evident whenever he has the opportunity to greet the customers and their dogs. Mike is also often outside helping out when the dogs are outside for playtimes. He loves all animals … except possums! LOL

Brianna grew up outside of Elmvale, helping out at her grand-parents hobby farm and raising dogs, cats, rodents, fish and a Bearded Dragon. She graduated Georgian College in the summer of 2023 as an Environmental Technician then started working with us that September. She likes hiking with her Labrador Retriever, Nova. Brianna brings to Covered Bridge, her compassion for our furry friends.
