Anita and Brian purchased Covered Bridge Boarding Kennel in 2010, turning an already good facility into an exemplary one. They ensure that all of the staff receive the necessary training and skills to provide the best possible care for your pets. They are extremely proud of their team.

Brian and Anita have a genuine love for dogs, with a small pack of their own, they have built a facility that their own dogs thrive in. They have created a staff of exceptional people with varied and valued skills to care and nurture all of their four-legged visitors.

Sean recently returned to the family business and is happy to see so many familiar faces and wagging tails. His love and passion for dogs never wavered during his time away. He now has a Potcake rescue named Duchess.

Hayley joined our team in January 2024. Hayley has a passion for all types of animals. Hayley is currently enrolled at Georgian College in the Veterinary Technician program, first year. We are very excited to see her excel in her chosen field. When she is not at work she loves spending time with her dog, cat, lizards and fish. 

Nancy has been with us since October 2022. Nancy enjoys her job so much she has decided to stay with us after graduating high school.  She truly loves all the pups she meets everyday and we are thrilled to have such a hard young worker.

Trinty started at Covered Bridge in August 2024. She has a deep passion for animals stemming from her upbringing in a household dedicated to rescues. She enjoys hiking and any opportunity to enjoy nature. Trinity has a fondness for all dogs and eagerly anticipates meeting all the cherished pups that come to Covered Bridge. When not at work her animal cuddles come from Cruz, her springer spaniel.

Katelyn has been at Covered Bridge since August 2023. She has always had a love for animals and is excited to be working in a field that she is passionate about. She has a Miniature Dachshund named Oliver, who loves to come to work with her to meet new friends. We are so happy to announce that Katelyn has worked very hard at her courses and is now our in house groomer. Way to go Katelyn!

Jessica the youngest member of our team, started with us in February 2024 and is currently finishing her third year of high school, attending EDHS. She has 2 dogs of her own and enjoys coming to work spending time with all of your dogs.

Mike started with us in August 2023 as our Groundskeeper.  He is responsible for all of our property maintenance and general kennel upkeep. Born and raised in nearby Elmvale, his friendly demeanour is evident whenever he has the opportunity to greet the customers and their dogs. Mike is also often outside helping out when the dogs are outside for playtimes. He loves all animals … except possums! LOL

Brianna grew up outside of Elmvale, helping out at her grand-parents hobby farm and raising dogs, cats, rodents, fish and a Bearded Dragon. She graduated Georgian College in the summer of 2023 as an Environmental Technician then started working with us that September. She likes hiking with her Labrador Retriever, Nova. Brianna brings to Covered Bridge, her compassion for our furry friends.
