Anita and Brian purchased Covered Bridge Boarding Kennel in 2010, turning an already good facility into an exemplary one. They ensure that all of the staff receive the necessary training and skills to provide the best possible care for your pets. They are extremely proud of their team.

Brian and Anita have a genuine love for dogs, with a small pack of their own, they have built a facility that their own dogs thrive in. They have created a staff of exceptional people with varied and valued skills to care and nurture all of their four-legged visitors.

Joining us in April 2013, Janis is our most experienced staff member. Having two dogs and two cats of her own, she has a natural love of animals which is reflected in her care for our clients’ pets. She now also applies her vast knowledge of canine nutrition to the preparation of all our ‘Grain-Free’, ‘All-Natural’ dog treats that have become very popular with our clients.

Joining us in April 2015, Kim has become a valuable member of our ‘Covered Bridge family’. She came to us with six years of practical experience in a veterinary clinic. Her vast knowledge of veterinary care has proven to be a great asset, along with her love of dogs, having two of her own. She is a very capable and trustworthy member of our team and can be relied on to provide the very best care for your dogs.

Devyn grew up on a local Dairy farm and has an overall love for animals. She started with us in July 2021 and is starting the Veterinary Technician program at Georgian College in the fall of 2022. Her knowledge and skills gained at school will certainly serve us well as she continues to work with us part-time.

Lochlyn has been working for Covered Bridge part-time since December 2021 while studying Art at Sheridan College. She hopes to work for Disney someday. In the meantime, she brings with her a natural caring and nurturing ability gained from caring for her own pets Knox, a Hedgehog and a cat named Farley.

Colby started with us in February 2022 while attending her second year at Sir Wilfred Laurier with aspirations of attending Law School. When not in school, she is here helping to look after all of our four-legged friends. Working here with all of our lovable friends has inspired to get herself a Chihuahua puppy named Reuben.

Alyssa joined our team in March 2022. She is Certified in Pet First-Aid and CPR. Having a wide variety of pets all of her life and currently being mom to Phoebe and Bolt, she has a genuine love for dogs. Alyssa is completing her year in Nursing School. Her long-term goal is to own a farm one day and help rescue dogs.

Miriam joined Covered Bridge in May 2022, and will be working with us until September when she will be joining the Ecological Program at Fleming College. She has a love for all animals and a passion for the outdoors. When not working in the kennel looking after the pups, she can be found outside helping with the landscaping. Owning many pets herself, Miriam feels at home here with so many dogs to play with every day.
