Anita and Brian purchased Covered Bridge Boarding Kennel in 2010, turning an already good facility into an exemplary one. They ensure that all of the staff receive the necessary training and skills to provide the best possible care for your pets. They are extremely proud of their team.

Brian and Anita have a genuine love for dogs, with a small pack of their own, they have built a facility that their own dogs thrive in. They have created a staff of exceptional people with varied and valued skills to care and nurture all of their four-legged visitors.

Sean recently returned to the family business and is happy to see so many familiar faces and wagging tails. His love and passion for caring for dogs has never wavered. He now has a Potcake rescue named Duchess.

Crystal has a great passion for all animals and aspired to work with dogs in her retirement after 33 years in Social Services. With her own Chocolate Lab, Whiskey, being a regular at Covered Bridge for three years, she was very excited to join the team in October 2022. She brings with her compassion and a fun-loving nature that all of the dogs adore.

Nancy has been with us since October 2022. She is in her senior year of High School and hopes to go into Interior Design after graduating. She loves coming to work to see our furry friends and has two Yorkies of her own.

Sandra has a background in Fitness & Health but has always had a love for dogs. She has been working at Covered Bridge since November 2022 and finds satisfaction when customers pick up their dogs and are happy to see how much fun they had. Sandra currently owns three dogs of her own, Mishka, Smokey and Toby. She is a true believer that socialization and exercise are keys to having a well-balanced, healthy and happy dog and is absolutely grateful to be a part of the experience.

Nicole started at Covered Bridge in July 2023. She is currently enrolled in the Veterinary Technician Program at Georgian College. Nicole loves caring for animals and has four of her own at home.

Katelyn has been at Covered Bridge since August 2023. She has always had a love for animals and is excited to be working in a field that she is passionate about. She has a Miniature Dachshund named Oliver, who loves to come to work with her to meet new friends.

Mikkaila started with us in August 2023 and is currently finishing her grade 12 year after which she will go on to study Pediatric Nursing. She loves being around other dogs. When not at home with her Luna, who has been a regular boarder at Covered Bridge for several years, she is happy to be looking after all of our four-legged friends here.

Mike started with us in August 2023 as our Groundskeeper.  He is responsible for all of our property maintenance and general kennel upkeep. Born and raised in nearby Elmvale, his friendly demeanour is evident whenever he has the opportunity to greet the customers and their dogs. Mike is also often outside helping out when the dogs are outside for playtimes. He loves all animals … except possums! LOL

Brianna grew up outside of Elmvale, helping out at her grand-parents hobby farm and raising dogs, cats, rodents, fish and a Bearded Dragon. She graduated Georgian College in the summer of 2023 as an Environmental Technician then started working with us that September. She likes hiking with her Labrador Retriever, Nova. Brianna brings to Covered Bridge, her compassion for our furry friends.

Joining Covered Bridge in November 2023, Mia is very excited to be working with us. They are an avid dog lover and grew up surrounded by dogs. Mia went to school to study Bio-Technology, but finds spending time with dogs is far more enjoyable than spending time in a lab.
